My grandmother, a talented rug designer and weaver since the mid-1980s, has long been underrecognized for her exceptional work. This project seeks to shine a light on her artistry and to foster a dialogue between her design discipline and mine. Titled Förgätmigej, the book chronicles the journey of her rugs, from conception to their debut and beyond.
The result of this project was a book and a vernissage. The book was presented in June 2023 at the Beckmans Graduation Exhibition, drawing from extensive interviews with my grandmother that trace her journey to becoming a designer. It explores the stories and complexities behind her work, providing a deeper understanding of her creative process. In addition, the book includes a detailed catalog of vector illustrations I designed, highlighting a selection of her rugs over the years.
The vernissage was held in May 2023 at Stora Nygatan 7 in Gamla Stan, Stockholm. During the event, I showcased six of my grandmother's designs and woven rugs. In addition, I created posters for the occasion, featuring vector illustrations of eight distinct rugs she has crafted.

Why is scent often perceived as abstract and elusive? Is it our associations with memories that make our olfaction so individually experienced? Despite this, is it possible to get the same perception of a scent so that it can be recreated, even when only one of the parties has felt it?
The Quest is an explorational project originating from the frustration of not being able to verbalize our sense of smell. A pursuit of trying to find the right words, clues or signs that eventually will lead in the right direction.
This project was a part of the exhibition Works Of Essence – a collaboration between Beckmans College of Design and perfumery school ISIPCA. Together with two students from ISIPCA, we explored how scent and design could interact. Our part of the project was to come up with a concept, give the perfume students a scent brief and visualize the process.
The result was displayed in an exhibition open to the public at the design school La Fabrique in Paris and at A house Ark in Stockholm february 2023.
Collaboration with Ida Gustafsson.

In mid-2022, due to the relocation of Beckmans College of Design, we were tasked with developing a new identity for the school. Beckmans is a place where creativity and curiosity thrive, constantly growing and transforming. The new concept reflects the highs and lows of the design process, embodied in what we call the "Beckmans school spirit." In addition to Anders Beckman, the school was co-founded by Göta Trägårdh, and we aimed to honor her legacy through the new identity. Her influence is present throughout, with details like the G-symbol, which is inspired by one of her textile designs.
